A STABBING in Evesham left a teenager 'seriously' hurt.
Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to Tesco petrol station on Worcester road on Saturday night following reports that a man had been stabbed.
Crews found armed police officers attempting to treat the injured man who was later rushed to hospital on blue lights.
A WMAS spokesperson said: "A teenager has suffered serious injuries after being stabbed in Evesham.
"West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the Tesco Petrol Station on Worcester Road at just before 10.40pm on Saturday evening to reports that a man had been stabbed.
"Once police had made the scene safe, ambulance staff went forward to find that armed officers had already started treatment on the man.
"He was assessed and received further advanced trauma care from the doctor on the car before he was taken on blue lights to a major trauma centre, with the doctor travelling with the crew."
West Mercia Police has been contacted for further information.
An ambulance and the air ambulance's critical care car were sent to the scene.
