A tribute to the creator of Thunderbirds has gone on display in Pershore.
Number 8 arts centre, on High Street, is hosting a collection of memorabilia around the work of Gerry Anderson as part of its Thunderbirds are FAB! event.
Gerry is best known for his ‘supermarionation’ style, using electronic marionettes in many of his most iconic shows.
During his career, Gerry created popular series such as Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, Stingray, and of course Thunderbirds.
Everything from toys to toiletries and replicas of the famous puppet character will be on show in Pershore until Sunday, August 14.
For the superfans among you, there will be a special event this Saturday, July 23.
Owner of the collection Robert Brown will host a talk about the memorabilia at 5:30pm before a showing of Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted.
Released a decade after his death, the documentary uses artificial intelligence to bring Gerry to life via a ‘deep fake’ simulation, allowing him to candidly share his story onscreen.
After the show, director Benjamin Field and Gerry’s son, and producer, Jamie Anderson will host a live Q&A.
