A fuel spill caused four cars to crash on a main road near Evesham.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Evesham Fire Station was called to the scene at 6:38pm.
The team had been alerted to a petrol/diesel spill on the A46 at Hinton-on-the-Green.
Two of the vehicles were made safe by the fire service personnel whilst the other two were able to be driven home, a HWFRS spokesperson confirmed.
They added that there were six casualties as a result of the crash, all of whom refused medical treatment.
Last week, a huge plan to improve the road was revealed by Midlands Connect.

The plan outlined a 20-year vision to "future-proof" the A46 in a bid to cut congestion and reduce the number of serious accidents.
The package of work includes improving junctions, roundabouts and reducing congestion at pinch points along the route.
