A popular Evesham chippy has gone up for sale.
Hamptons Fish and Chips on Peewit Road has been listed for sale on Rightmove, with an asking price of £84,950 for the leasehold.
The site explains that the sale is due to "health reasons" however the current owners have assured customers that business will carry on as normal until new owners are found.
Rightmove states that the business has a “great reputation” while having “further potential”.
The listing adds that a takeaway has been trading from the premises for over 30 years with the current owners having arrived six years ago.
“They are now reluctantly offering the business for sale due to health reasons,” reads the listing.
It continues: “The business has built a strong reputation within the local community and beyond and as such has a high level of regular and repeat trade.
“This is a superb opportunity to purchase an established business which is a great base to build upon and as such early viewing is highly recommended as this gem is not to be missed.”

Rightmove states that the current owners have continually invested in the shop by purchasing new equipment along with fixtures and fittings, meaning new owners will not need to splash out for some time.
Hamptons is owner-operated with six part-time members of staff and an average weekly turnover of circa £4,500 on 18 hours per week over five days.
The listing also states that the business has a five-star food hygiene rating as well as 5, 4.5 and 4.6 star ratings on Facebook, TripAdvisor and Google respectively.
The chip shop is being sold by Veritas Business Sales, who claim that it has room for improvement.
The listing reads: “We believe that a new owner could increase trade by extending the current opening times, increasing the food offering such as pizzas and by joining the online delivery portals such as Just Eat.”
The original term of the leasehold was 10 years, with six years still remaining.
The fixed rent is £12,000 per annum and further information can be found on Rightmove.
