The Vale’s and Cotswold’s railway history is being celebrated at an exhibit this month.
Cotswold Line Promotion and Vale Public Transport Group have teamed up to put on a photography exhibition at Pershore Library showcasing the area's railway past and present.
Featuring both black and white steam era photos and more modern pictures, the free exhibition launched on Monday, May 16.
It has today been extended, so will run until Saturday, June 4.
There will also be a film night, held on May 27.
‘Rail and Vale’, presented by Pershore rail archivist Michael Clemens, features local footage of stations and train services on current and former routes in the Vale and Cotswold areas, many of which were lost in the Beeching era.
The film night will also be held at the Library, on Church Street, starting at 7:45pm.
Admission on the door will be £5.
