The manager of the Evesham Hotel has provided an update on its closure.
The hotel and spa, on Coopers Lane, has been closed since the beginning of February.
General manager David Fields has now confirmed why the hotel was closed but does not know when it will reopen.
He said: "We are working with the Home Office looking after refugees.
"As for when we will reopen no date has been set yet."
A statement on the hotel's website states that the hotel was to close to the general public from Tuesday, February 1.
It continues: "This is a temporary closure (we are just not sure for how long) but please be assured, we will be back!
"If you have any queries or concerns please contact reception on 01386 765566."
Speaking at the time, a Home Office spokesperson said that they are unable to confirm the usage of hotels due to “safeguarding issues”.
