A Cotswold stylist is celebrating after beating competition from across the country to claim a prestigious hairdressing award.
Katie Hemming, of Love Hair on Broadway high street, picked up the trophy for 'Enviable Volume' at the 10th annual GLammies.
The award was one of 16 up for grabs and will see Katie jet off to Rome as part of her prize.
She said: “Winning a trophy at the GLammies is a dream come true.
“Extensions are my passion and I’ve worked hard to get to this point in my career.
“There are so many incredibly talented people working in this industry, so to be named as a winner is a huge honour.
"I’m delighted to be bringing this trophy home to Love Hair in Broadway.”
The awards, by hair extensions company Great Lengths, aim to recognise the most talented extensionists across the UK and Ireland.
Katie joined more than 150 guests for the awards ceremony at The Steel Yard in London on Monday, March 21.
In addition to a GLammies trophy, Katie will receive a tour of the Great Lengths production factory in the Italian capital.
Joscelin McCourt, HB Collective CEO, home of Great Lengths, said: “The GLammies by Great Lengths celebrate the very best extensionists working in our incredible industry.
“In winning this award, Katie has demonstrated creativity, passion and precision, as well as a talent for their craft which is unparalleled.
“Katie should feel incredibly proud to be recognised for all they have achieved in reaching this level.”
