It’s been a busy first week for a new gift shop on Broadway High Street.
The Man Cave Mk2 has officially opened and owner Julian Lloyd, 45, couldn’t be happier with the reception so far.
Mr Lloyd and his wife, Emma, opened the original Man Cave in Cotswold Court in 2017 but when the opportunity to take over Dickens House on High Street came about, they jumped at the chance.
He said: “We are absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of people who have been and enjoyed our awesome new store, and the positive feedback has been incredible!
“But this really is early days, it took us a just little over two weeks to get the new TMC to where it is but we have so much more to come, it will be ever evolving!”
The new store, which opened on Saturday March 19, is spread over three floors, offering a wide range of gifts and furniture.
It even features its own man cave, where visitors can play a game of pool or chill out on the sofas.
Mr Lloyd added: “We have very quickly become everyone’s favourite shop ever! To be fair it’s easy to see why with three floors of amazingly cool stuff including a pool table, arcade machines, automotive artwork and a new range of unusual cool and quirky gifts, not to mention a 1927 Brough Superior motorcycle!
“And Enzo, our very own life-size prancing horse made out of car parts, has become an attraction all of his own… he must be the most photographed thing in Broadway at the moment, he’s becoming an Instagram sensation!”
The Man Cave Mk1 and Mk2 are both open now.
