TWO men have been fined after admitting illegally fishing in waters near Pershore.
Rafal Szalczewski, 42 and Krzysztof Budzynski, 33 both admitted removing eels, bream, chub and perch from the River Severn by rod and line.
This was a breach of the Environment Agency's national bye-laws concerning eel-fishing.
The two defendants, both from West Bromwich, were each fined £200 for removing eels from the water and a further £100 for the bream, chub and perch offences.
They were also ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge each as well as £135 in court costs.
