A woman from Evesham was killed in a car crash in the Cotswolds earlier today.
Gloucestershire Police have confirmed that a woman in her 60s died following a three-vehicle collision at around 2:05pm in Stow.
The crash occurred on the A424 Evesham Road, near Billys Egg Farm, and involved a blue Honda FR-V, silver Volvo XC90 and a red Peugeot 107.
The driver of the Honda died at the scene after sustaining serious injuries.
Her family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Two other people were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to have their injuries assessed.
Closures have been put into place on the A424 between Longborough and Stow, A4077 at Donnington and at the junction with the A429.
As of 7:13pm, the closures remain in place while police investigations continue.
Officers investigating the crash are now asking anyone with information to come forward.
They are also looking to speak with anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage.
