Six more road closures in Wychavon are to come into effect before the end of the month.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows there are already five closures, one of which will remain in place until the end of May.
Meanwhile, one of the closures being introduced later this month could cause delays of up to half an hour.
Current road closures
• M42, from 8pm October 11 2021 to 6am February 26 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 4A to junction 6, lane closure for communications works.
• A46, from 8pm September 27 2021 to 5pm April 29 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 northbound and southbound, Teddington hands to Beckford, traffic signals with switching for installation of solar equipment.
• M5, from 6am November 10 2021 to 6am May 31 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 5 to junction 6, 24 hour lane closure with varioguard and speed restrictions for emergency bridge repairs.
• M5, from 9.30pm February 14 to 6am February 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 6 to junction 4, lane closures for opex drainage works.
Upcoming closures
• M5, from 9pm February 23 to 6am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 8 to junction 7, hard shoulder and lane closure for electrical signange repairs.
• M5, from 9pm February 24 to 6am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 4A to junction 5, Lane closure for communications.
• A46, from 10pm February 24 to 4am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Cheltenham Road from, junction A435 to junction B4078, traffic signals for utility works on behalf of Western Power.
• A46, from 9am February 25 to 6am April 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Cheltenham road by Evesham football club, traffic signals for utility work son behalf of Western Power.
• M42, from 8pm February 26 to 6am February 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 4A to junction 6 - Lane closure for communications for national installation of Stopped Vehicle Detection Radar Equipment.
• M42, from 8pm February 28 to 6am April 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 4A to junction 6, Lane closures with single lane running for communications installation of Stopped Vehicle Detection Radar Equipment.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
