Beau Boo Beauty has been named as a finalist at the English Hair and Beauty Awards 2022, in the Beauty Salon of the Year category.
It has been a far from ideal start to life for the salon, which moved to Keil Close in 2020.

“In between lockdowns we moved the salon over to a new premises in Broadway, we were open for three weeks before being shut again.
“We had no idea how it was going to work out, but with perseverance and loyal, supportive, clients, old and new, we have had such huge success and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that’s supported my dream.”
The awards ceremony will take place at the Delta by Marriott Nottingham Belfry hotel on Sunday, March 20.
Individuals from across the hair and beauty industry, from cosmetic companies to stylists and academies.
Hosted by Creative Oceanic, the awards are voted for by the public.
Some of the other accolades up for grabs include Hair Salon of the Year, Nail Technician of the Year, Stylist of the Year, and many more.
A Spokesperson for The English Hair & Beauty Awards 2022, said "The Covid-19 pandemic presented unique challenges for the hair and beauty industry with many businesses being forced to close and various restrictions being in place. However, many businesses have successfully adapted to the new challenges the industry has faced since the pandemic started.
“In recognition of this, the Awards will shine the spotlight on the talented professionals that have shown great passion, commitment and innovation for the beauty industry, who often don’t get the recognition they deserve."
“With fierce competition this year, we would like to wish to the finalists the best of luck and we can’t wait to welcome our guests and deliver another enjoyable event."
