A body believed to be that of a woman missing for over two months has been found in the River Avon.
The body was recovered by officers looking for 68-year-old Margaret Tyszkow.
Ms Tyszkow, from Badsey, has been missing since Thursday, November 24, 2021.
West Mercia Police have confirmed that formal identification has not yet taken place however Ms Tyszkow’s family have been informed.
Officers discovered the body in the River Avon near the centre of Evesham on Thursday morning (January 27).
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 11:43am to alert them of an incident on Pershore Road.
Crews from Worcester, Evesham an Pershore attended the scene, along with the Water First Responder team from Pershore.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were also called to the scene.
