Details have been announced for this year’s Pershore Carnival.
This year’s event will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2, as a result of the changes to the 2022 bank holidays.
Meanwhile the theme for the Carnival Procession has been revealed as 1952 to 2022: Inventions of the last 70 years.
Individuals and groups are invited to join the procession either on foot or on motorised floats and winning entrants will be presented with cups, with certificates awarded to all who take part.
There will also be a collection during the parade and organisers are looking to hear from local organisations who could benefit from the donations.
Businesses and organisations have until April 1 to book a stall on carnival day.
