A popular American fast-food chain is opening near Evesham next week.
It has now been confirmed that a Taco Bell will be opening in Cheltenham on Wednesday, December 22.
The restaurant takes over the unit previously occupied by Caffe Nero, 211 High Street, which Taco Bell say has been “transformed into a stylish 2,000m space over two floors”.
Lucy Dee, head of marketing at Taco Bell UK, said: “We’re delighted to be able to bring Taco Bell to Cheltenham.
“Cheltenham has been crying out for a Taco Bell and we’re very pleased to be able to deliver, creating local jobs despite challenging circumstances.
“We look forward to feeding residents from Wednesday onwards whether it be dine in, click and collect or takeaway.”
Currently, there are 425 Taco Bell’s outside of the United States however the brand is aiming to see its international presence expanded to 9,000 restaurants by the end of 2022.
The branch is the 84th UK branch of the chain and it will be open for dine-in, take away and click and collect orders using the Taco Bell app.
The restaurant is open from 10am until 10pm every day of the week and delivery via Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat will be available from Wednesday January 5.
