The Evesham Tree of Light has now been illuminated and this week is your last chance to be part of it.
People wishing to remember loved ones this Christmas have until Friday, December 3, to submit the forms for this year’s tree.
On Thursday November 25, the tree, at its new location of the forecourt of the Methodist Church, was lit up with more than 300 people attending the event.
Mayor of Evesham Sue Amor and Bishop Robert Paterson led the proceedings while Rotary district governor Graham Ogden and Evesham Rotary president Pamela Nilo-Walton both shared their appreciation for all the donations thus far.
Entertainment was provided by the Bretforton Silver Band while Prince Henry’s High School Rotary Interact Club provided refreshments.
A spokesman for Evesham Rotary said: “We are grateful that so many people who remember and donate.
“Donations are coming in well and we hope once again to be able to make significant donations to charities in the area.”
Every year the Rotary Club in Evesham raises around £14,000 for charitable causes.
You can get involved by donating money which will reward you with a personal Tree of Light card and the names of all your loved ones published in the Evesham Journal, on the Rotary Club website, and in the Book of Remembrance in the town library.
The forms and more information can be found in the Evesham Journal print copy or online on the Rotary Club's website.
