SIX ambulances and three police cars responded to an incident in Evesham town centre.
The incident took place near the now-closed Railway Hotel, High Street, and at least two of the ambulance vehicles were incident response units.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We were called to the railway station in the High Street at just after 6.30am this morning.
"The call we received was to a concern for safety and a man was taken to hospital. British Transport Police and the ambulance service was also in attendance."
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to Evesham Railway Station, High Street, Evesham, following concerns for the welfare of a patient.
"An ambulance, two paramedic officers and HART paramedics attended the scene. One man was assessed on scene and conveyed to hospital for further specialist care."
