THE team at a construction firm in Pershore have helped three families access laptops for online learning during the lockdown after donating funds to the school.
Wrubble Ltd donated money to Fladbury First School which it has used to provide new laptops during lockdown.
The school was able to purchase three laptops using the donations from Wrubble, which were then sent out to families in need of IT for home learning.
The school’s head teacher Julie Wilson said: “I would like to say how grateful the families and children were and how it enabled the children to stay connected to their class and teachers, which was and still is so important right now.
“Everyone at Fladbury is working extremely hard to ensure minimal disruption to our children’s education and the laptops have really helped with this.”
A spokesman for the construction firm said: “We were delighted to be able to support the local community and wish all the children and staff well.”
The Wrubble Ltd team is also inviting every youngster in Pershore and the surrounding villages to join in with their Easter art competition.
Children are encouraged to draw posters of diggers, dumpers and lorries for the walls of the Wrubble Ltd office.
Entries should be emailed to competition@wrubble.co.uk by Friday March 26, 2021.
