AN act of remembrance took place in Evesham on Sunday.
A small number of people attended but the public were encouraged to 'remember at home.'
Residents were urged to remember those who sacrificed their lives in two World Wars, and conflicts since, from the safety of their doorsteps on both remembrance Sunday and Armstice day November 11, as coronavirus cases have continued to rise across the district.
The service at Evesham memorial on Sunday November 8 was streamed on facebook.
In Pershore residents were also encouraged to 'remember at home' but special displays were created outside the Abbey so people could pause to remember during their daily exercise.
