A PUB has closed its doors due to struggling because of coronavirus.
The increasing restrictions and subsequent drop in trade meant the The Bridge Inn Offenham could no longer stay open. It closed on Wednesday night. The business owners posted on Facebook: "We hope everyone who joined us enjoyed the night and it was amazing to see so many turn out for the amazing fireworks which sent us off with an amazing bang."
"Again we just want to thank everyone who has supported us for the last year and half since we came to this amazing village."
"We have made memories and some amazing friends."
"To the Locals: Thankyou for turning out for us, it meant a lot seeing everyone we’ve got to know whilst we’ve been here. Thankyou for always being there to help if needed as well, as we couldn’t have done it without you guys!"
"To the staff..... past and present "Without you lot we wouldn’t of made the Boat what we did!! You lot became family and always will be!"
"We will miss you all, but hope to stay in touch and see you all soon."
