A YOUTH charity’s woodland has been vandalised.
A pizza stove, fences and benches have been vandalised, and firewood has also been stolen from WAM Youth’s site near Evesham.
The vandalism attack happened between 5pm Monday (October 26) and 10am Tuesday morning.
The youth charity shared on Facebook: “To the people who between 5pm yesterday and 10am this morning smashed our pizza oven, stole our firewood, tried to steal our charcoal burners, knocked over our fence, broke up our benches and generally left our woodland near Evesham in a mess.
“If instead you would like to help contribute positively to this beautiful space that we are privileged to be stewards of do feel free to join us to volunteer your energy more constructively.
“We are a charity, much of these items have been gifted or built by staff, volunteers and young people and we can't afford to replace them.
“We would love to help you enjoy the woodland as it is intended to be enjoyed. Please do get in touch.”
The charity later added: “Thank you so much to everyone who has messaged/texted and emailed encouragement and support after the damage in our woodland yesterday.
“It has really lifted the spirits of our team! Thanks also to those who have spontaneously donated towards the cost of repairs/replacements.
“Many of you have been asking how you can help. This page will give you information on how to volunteer or donate if that's something you would like to do.
