AN estate car was seized after trying to ram police during a pursuit.
A police helicopter was also deployed during the chase through Evesham on Monday.
The chase began after the vehicle failed to stop, and the attempt to cause the smash. After the driver realised he couldn't outrun officers, the car was abandoned.
In a tweet the force confirmed two people were arrested, and said more arrests would take place "in the coming days".
The vehicle seized and a stolen generator was recovered.
A police twitter account also added: "Apologies to the residents of Evesham for the increased police presence and noise from the aircraft.
"It is necessary to get a number of appropriately trained resources into place to safely resolve such incidents. The helicopter kindly attended from Oxfordshire."
