THERE was just one coronavirus related death in the county in the latest week of data available.
The latest Office of National Statistics (ONS) all settings figures shows the single death - with Covid-19 mentioned on the death certificate - came in hospital, and was of a Worcester resident.
The figures, which cover the week up to July 31, show there were no deaths in the county in a care home, a hospice, a communal establishment or elsewhere.
The single death shows the progress made since the height of the pandemic, when around 100 county people a week were dying in all settings.
For example since the week ending June 26, up to July 31, there have been 10 additional deaths in total - four from Wychavon, two people from Worcester, two from Wyre Forest, one Malvern resident and one from Redditch.
During that period the worst hit area of the county, Bromsgrove, saw no additional deaths.
