THERE has been yet another accident on the A46 near the Truck Stop.
The Jounal (July 9) headlined an accident nearby.
During one week in May there were at least five accidents between the Cheltenham Road roundabout and Teddington Hands, one of which caused the write-off of a car which was hit from behind by a skip lorry. The mother and baby were lucky to survive.
This part of the road puts fear into all those who live alongside it, and I would impress on the county council that action needs to be taken either in the form of a 50mph limit with no overtaking or at least "accident blackspot" signs.
Best of all would be the resurrection of the plans for a dual carriageway.
I wrote to our county Councilor, Adrian Hardman in May expressing my concern, but to date he has failed to reply.
