VISITORS to Naunton Beauchamp`s annual fete and dog show near Pershore enjoyed sunshine, blue skies and plenty of Pimms.
This year's event include home made cakes and stalls along with the added attraction of Elmdon Model Engineering Society`s steam train and carriages which gave rides throughout the day.
The Best in Show winner of the Dog Show was Colin, a soft coated wheaten terrier, owned by Kate Williams from Evesham while Reserve Best in Show was a Corgi owned by a Mr Peplow from Bromsgrove.
Best Puppy was a Cocker Spaniel from Worcester owned by Miss B Lee and Best Veteran came further afield from Buckingham.
The winner of the first prize in the Grand Raffle was Tom Jones from Worcester who won a flight for two in a light aircraft.
The total raised on the day was more than £1,500 which goes towards the upkeep of St Bartholomew`s church in the village.
Organisers have said a big thank you to everyone who helped raise the amount and a special thanks to the Brain Injury Group at Evesham College who provide them with some stunning planters for sale.
