DOGS seeking a new home will have a new toy to play with during their stay at Evesham's Dogs Trust thanks to a town shop.
Just for Pets in Swan Lane, Evesham, handed over 70 new Kongs to the charity, based at Wickhamford, which looks after dogs while they wait for a new home.
Laura Bradley, supervisor at Just for Pets, said they were delighted to be able to help the dogs by donating the Kongs - a dog toy which owners can hide a treat inside.
"It was brilliant," she said. "They were really excited about having them. We were visited by one of the dogs who will be using one called Queenie, because she hasn't found a home.
"We worked in conjunction with Kong, so when people bought a Kong we donate one in return as on the company."
