This special Meet Your Local Trader feature is part of our Grow In Evesham campaign
A POPULAR Evesham fish and chip shop is frying high now that the town’s Abbey Bridge has been reopened.
Based in Port Street, Rainbow Chippy has built a top quality reputation for great food and friendly service with a smile.
Its owners, known to all as “Sthathi and Gigsy”, have been at the helm for three years but the business has been in the family for almost a decade.
Although business was quieter than usual during the bridge closure, they are delighted to report that custom has returned and things have quickly got back to normal now that the vital route into the town is open again.
“Business is now back to normal and we are very pleased that most of our regular customers continued to support us,” they said. “We are proud of our customer care attitude and are pleased that our customers say that we are always very friendly. Customer care is of the upmost importance to us .”
The chippy has an extensive menu to try and cater for all tastes, and if your particular favourite is not on the menu, every effort will be made to try and make sure it is awaiting you on your next visit.
Telephone orders on 01386 41284 are welcomed at both lunch and dinner time and, if you needed any more reason to visit, Rainbow Chippy will be running a very special “Chips for a Quid” special offer from Bank Holiday Monday through until Saturday, May 10.
They are also planning to offer more special offers at the start of every month.
Rainbow Chippy is proud to have been awarded both the sea fish fryer quality award and a five-star food and hygiene rating.
The chippy also offers an outside catering service perfect for your special events and celebrations, and can also cater for boat trips.
