FOUR days of fun are on the cards at Hampton Ferry in Evesham this Easter.
The riverside venue is celebrating the opening of the Abbey Bridge and the arrival of spring by kick starting the tourist season with a flourish of seasonal events.
The fun begins on Good Friday with Raphael's perfect tea party, a typically English afternoon cream tea, with Diana Raphael who will entertain with her account of life at Hampton Ferry and end the afternoon with the magnificent Evesham Through the Seasons slide show film and prizes for the best decorated Easter bonnet.
Cancer Research take over on Good Friday evening with a family fun quiz night to raise funds for this charity.
On Easter Saturday there will be a narrated pleasure cruise along the River Avon onboard The Spirit of Freedom pleasure cruiser returning to Hampton Ferry for lunch, and in the evening Evesham Volunteer Centre are hosting a night at the snail races.
On Easter Sunday there will be a carvery lunch on offer and the whole weekend wraps up with a family fun day on Bank Holiday Monday with charity stalls and side shows, a car boot sale, face painting, a junior Easter bonnet parade, children's colouring competition and a free Easter egg hunt.
