ABBEY Bridge may be out of action, but that’s not stopping Dave Purser continuing to offer quality meat to the people of Evesham at The Master Butcher on Avon Street.
With more than 25 years worth of experience in the trade, and a shop that’s been in situ for over 10 years, Dave’s got the background needed to make his independent butcher shop a success.
He said: “My aim is to offer the town a unique service by selling the best quality meat available locally, all boned and trimmed to perfection.”
Dave’s devotion to his trade is certainly making waves and this year alone he’s won West Midlands Champion with the shop’s pork with sweet chilli and lime burgers.
This accolade is just for this year, with Dave boasting over 70 gold and silver awards for burgers and sausages, all made on site to their own recipes.
It’s a challenging time for Evesham, but Dave’s still upbeat.
“I’ve got nothing to complain about. We have very loyal customers who appreciate the quality offering we have brought to the town.
“They’re certainly helping ensure a local passionate lad based in our lovely town thrives in good times and bad.”
Dave’s also taken up the helpful YES loyalty card which he’s found has attracted more customers to the shop.
“It’s certainly been a helpful boost to the trade and with the discounted parking it’s really helped during the bridge works,” he said.
So if you’ve got a hankering for some quality beef, lamb, free range pork, English gammon, bacon and free range chicken you’ll find no better place than at The Master Butcher’s in Evesham.
