Michael and Sheila Pearse, from The Gas Shop and Firefly Studios Evesham, have written an open letter to the people of the town expressing gratitude for their support and to ask them to carry on helping local businesses to survive during the current challenging trading conditions.
“YES, it is hard at the moment, for all shopkeepers, but on a positive note, The Gas Shop and Firefly Studios Evesham want to thank local people for all their support in these difficult times. We have always looked at how we can help Evesham, as we are all proud of our town.
“If customers don’t drive or cannot get into us, we go out to them, to measure and survey for what is needed. This service is free of charge.
“We have always had a good response to our sales over the telephone. Only this week we had a lady from France wanting a stove – yes, we sold to her – and a man from Witney wanting an electric fire – yes we delivered to him.
“We are proud of our town and will always try new ideas to bring sales into our showrooms.
What customers want we try to get. We deliver and fit and remove old appliances from site.
“All staff are professionally trained and will always give the best advice on the appliances customers want in gas or electric.
“Evesham has a lot of independent shops with great people working in them.
“So carry on shopping in Evesham and support your local family businesses, so we can be here for you.”
