ART lovers and horse lovers have until the end of March to catch up with a new exhibition at the Artysan Gallery, at Moreton in Marsh.
A spokesman said: "International equestrian artist Alexandra Churchill, who lives and paints from her studio in the Cotswolds is exhibiting her latest equine paintings and limited edition prints.
"Alexandra has been privileged to paint some of the greatest racehorses of our generation, including Best Mate, Big Bucks, Denman and Kauto Star, just voted the Racing Post’s ‘PeoplesChamp’ as the most popular Gold Cup winner ever."
The spokesman added: "Sadly, Kauto Star is no longer with us but you can view this beautiful portrait of him at the gallery, in Oxford Street, Moreton."
Alexandra Churchill was born and raised in British Columbia but draws her inspiration from the British countryside, and horses are a passion.
Living in the Cotswolds, she takes inspiration from her surroundings
The artist has earned an international reputation for her equine portraits, some of which are life sized.
Her work can be seen in The Museum of Fine Art Boston and the Smithsonian, and post cards of her work have been sold in the Ashmolean Museum, Buckingham Palace and The Vatican.
The Artysan Gallery "is open to customers and browsers" every day, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and is closed on Sundays.
