Title glory for Birlingham cricketers
BIRLINGHAM were crowned Worcestershire Cricket League Division Six champions after a 179-run thrashing of hosts Enville thirds.
Openers Sam Robinson (72) and Martin Downes (71) laid the foundations as they secured the title by 20 points from Ombersley thirds.
Alan Keylock added 43 and Stuart Mason 33 in the villagers' 306-5 before they bowled Enville out for 127.
John Sturt took 3-20, Downes 2-23 and Anthony Cosnett 2-12.
