ROUS LENCH gold-medal winning gardener Hannah Genders is offering her expertise in an informal talk about her garden and revealing locally-named perennials from Pershore College.
Hannah will be at Hillers Farm Shop, in Alcester, on Friday April 8 between 10am and 11.30am. Those going along to hear her will get a free coffee and brownie.
Among the locally named plants available from the farm shop will be penstemons named Elmley, Overbury and Pershore Carnival, coreopsis named Worcester Gold and leucanthemum named Broadway Lights.
The international garden designer has two Chelsea Flower Show medals and a gold medal from Malvern Flower Show.
Both she and Hillers buy plants from Pershore College and although the local plants will not be in flower until June they will be ready to plant out now.
