SIX fire appliances from Evesham, Bidford, Alcester, Leamington and Stratford were called to a barn fire at Clay Hall Farm, Honeybourne Road, Bidford, at 18.43 hours on Monday.
The single-storey building was used as farm workshops and two oxyacetylene cylinders were discovered to be inside when fire crews got there. A 300 metre safety area was prepared as firefighters fought the blaze. Initially crews from Bidford and Alcester attended and requested further assistance along with the specialist water bowser vehicle to assist with water supplies.
