POLICE have been out directing the traffic in Evesham after a car fire near the train station.
Fire crews have not long put out the blaze in Greenhill, after they were called at 1.35pm today (Saturday).
The fire control room has received 11 calls from the public about the blaze in the diesel-powered vehicle which could be seen as the fire brigade were approaching.
A crew from Evesham used two hose reels and a street hydrant to tackle the flames which were put out in just under an hour.
