THE New Year brings a chance to see the Eighties new wave pop goddess, Toyah, unplugged and talkative at the Evesham Arts Centre.
As well a performing her hits, and other classic songs, all unplugged, Toyah will recall stories from her colourful and varied career, which spans 35 years.
A spokesman said: "From filming pop videos on horseback at 5am to acting alongside Katharine Hepburn and Laurence Olivier, this is a show which lifts the lid on working in the entertainment business. "Talented guitarists Chris Wong and Colin Hinds accompany Toyah on meticulous & melodic acoustic versions of the hits, including It's A Mystery; Thunder In The Mountains; I Want To Be Free and Good Morning Universe, through to Sensational, which was used recently by a TV advert starring Patsy Kensit."
The spokesman said: "This is a unique chance to experience Toyah in an intimate setting where music and stories take centre stage."
